Have you got a wound that has taken longer than 4 weeks to heal? Or have you had a long term wound in the last six months?

Nurse researchers from Kings College London and John Hopkins University, USA are interested in talking to people living with a wound to understand their experiences of nursing care and what is important to them.
We know people living with a wound see a nurse frequently to manage their wound but little is known about the impact the nurse has and what aspects of nursing care is important to people living with a wound.

Nurse researchers from Kings College London and John Hopkins University, USA would like a range of people living with a wound to talk about their experiences, shape future research and inform its usefulness and impact on patient care.

They are looking for:

Anyone over the age of 18, living anywhere in the UK who has a wound that has taken longer than 4 weeks to heal, or had a long term wound in the last six months

Expected commitment:

To attend one of the online group workshops to share your experiences and shape future research.

  • Tuesday 11th July (2pm – 3pm)
  • Tuesday 8th August (2pm – 3pm)
  • Tuesday 12th September (2pm – 3pm)

If you do not feel comfortable participating in the group online workshops but are interested in this project. Please contact victoria.clemett@kcl.ac.uk who will be happy to arrange a one-to-one chat to discuss your experiences and perspectives.
