Summary:

We are recruiting an Advisory Group of about 6 people who will meet regularly to help oversee the London Alliance for the Co-production of Evidence Synthesis (LACES) project. This Advisory Group will reflect different sets of expertise and perspectives from across the UK. You will be asked to advise across a range of evidence syntheses for 1-5 years to inform our methods, processes, and ways of working.

We will be looking to you to advise on work planning and methods, advise on the quality of the work, help to identify risks, and generally sense-check the work. Advisory Group members would also have the opportunity to comment on project outputs and may help to prepare and comment on annual reports to the funder based on their availability and desired time commitment. While the Advisory Group will not co-produce the individual evidence syntheses with the research team themselves, they will engage with the team to ensure that the methods applied within each project are inclusive and reflective of the values and principles of co-production.

Who is working on the project?

  • Researchers at the EPPI Centre (Evidence for Policy & Practice Information Centre) at University College London (Silvy, Rachael, Alison, and Katy)
  • Co-Production Collective at UCL (Vanessa, Krisztina, Niccola)
  • You (if you would like to join us)

Commitment to inclusion:

At Co-Production Collective, we are keen to make the projects we are involved in equitable and accessible for all. These are opportunities open to all individuals support and training will be provided. We are particularly keen to recruit from groups that are typically under-represented in health research and decision-making. If there is anything we can do to make it easier for you to apply, please get in touch with Vanessa via email at v.bennett@ucl.ac.uk.
