SOCRATES is a group of researchers and experts by experience from three universities (the London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of Central Lancashire and King’s College London).

They would like you to join the SOCRATES Network if you care about improving social care for children and or adults and:

  • You are an expert by experience. This means people who have personal experience of social care.
  • AND/OR you help provide and improve social care as part of your working life or volunteering.

There are a few different ways to get involved.

Attend a discussion workshop

  • University of Central Lancashire campus (Preston) 11am –3pm on Friday  27th October.
  • London School of Economics Campus (London) 11am –3pm on Monday 30th October

Join the SOCRATES Network

They want to build a diverse and inclusive network of people interested in social care (including members of the public and social care providers). Members of the network will receive updates about the project and be kept informed of research progress, event and activities, and the opportunities to help make decisions about what we they are doing.

Become a member of the Advisory Network

They want people with experience of social care to guide their work, help connect with relevant people, share information, and make sure they are having an impact.
