Mind, the mental health charity, are creating some videos and are looking for people with living experience of personality disorders to help shape the content. They want it to be helpful, and speak to people from all backgrounds.

There are two ways to get involved:

  • Share your story in a video
  • Be on a review panel, sharing your thoughts on the informative animations being created

They are looking for:

They are looking for people who are over the age of 18, live in either Wales or England and have personal experience with personality disorders.

Expected commitment from participants:

If you are interested in sharing your story, Mind would need a commitment to set aside a day for filming as well as some time for phone calls to discuss the video beforehand.

If you are interested in being on the review panel, there would be two feedback stages over the course of a month. Neither should exceed 1.5 hours and can be done remotely.

For full details on both opportunities, visit here: Have your voice heard and help others living with personality disorders

Commitment to inclusion:

Mind are committed to being inclusive. For the filming opportunity, a team will come to you and work with you to discuss and overcome any accessibility needs, if there are any.

For the review panel, the opportunity is remote to help overcome any difficulties with travel. Documents will be supplied in accessible formats and people will be on hand through out the opportunity to support participants.

Closing date to apply:

Please fill out the form by midday on the 24th October if you are interested in either opportunity.

Mind will endeavour to get back to everyone, whether they are successful or not, with in 6 weeks of the form closing.

If you apply for this opportunity please let the organisers know that you saw it advertised by Shaping Our Lives. Thank you!
