Cancer Research UK are looking for people to help review and discuss requests from commercial organisations to re-use data from Cancer Research UK funded studies. By being part of this panel, you’ll help ensure that the research we support will use data responsibly, securely and to benefit people affected by cancer and the public.

Expected commitment:
Time commitment: Until November 2025 with the option to extend.
This is a new panel but the minimum commitment is a 2-hour online meeting every six months (on a weekday) with the option to review individual proposals from commercial organisations (up to 3 hours total including an online meeting).
Commitment to inclusion:
You do not need to have:
- Any knowledge of Cancer Research UK, Cancer Research Horizons or the work we do
- An understanding of data or our research data strategy
- Experience of working within commercial organisations
- Experience of cancer (we’d like to work with a mix of people with lived experience of cancer and members of the public).
