The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) is pleased to share an opportunity to be involved in the co-design of a commercial research study (that is a study funded by a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device company) into Urothelial Cancer which has spread (stage III or IV), by participating in an online document review. (If you have experience of other types of bladder or urological cancers, you may still be suitable to take part). They want to hear your feedback to ensure that this, and future research, is as accessible as possible for everyone by designing it for patients, with patients.
The NIHR is looking for:
- Up to 8 adult individuals (aged over 18), living in the UK
 - People with lived experience, as a patient or parent/carer, of Urothelial Cancer
 - You will need to be able to access and use a word processing programme, such as Microsoft Word, to read the documentation and fill out a feedback form/forms
 - You will need to be comfortable with reviewing the documentation and sending back comments online

Expected commitment from participants:
- This is an online review to comment on the content and design of patient-facing documents for a particular research study
 - The NIHR wants to ensure that the documents are informative, accessible, engaging and fit for purpose, and that the language used is appropriate for potential participants and carers
 - Participants will have 10 days to review the documents and return their feedback

Closing date to apply: Thursday, 6th November 2025 (please note they may close the deadline for applications before this date if they receive a lot of interest in this opportunity)
Documents will be sent via e-mail. The NIHR will endeavour to make these documents as accessible as possible, depending on participant requirements.
