Movers ‘n’ shakers are a team of individuals from various sectors including Keele University, Edge Hill University and local community physical activity providers such as MCRactive and GM active who are working together to research physical activity and multiple-long term conditions. Through discussions with service users, they are hoping to learn more about people’s experiences with physical activity to help guide their research proposals.
They are looking for any participants with lived experience of long-term conditions who would be willing to discuss their experiences of physical activity.
Expected commitment from participants:
- Initially, a 2-hour virtual meeting on the 27th of November 9-11am
- Potential for further meetings in the future
Closing date to apply: 10th November 2025
They are inviting individuals to share their personal experiences with physical activity, and are especially interested in hearing from those who face additional barriers to accessing physical activity sessions. Participation will take place in an online meeting, so no travel or accommodation is required. To support your involvement, they will provide payment to help cover any associated costs.
