We are hiring a Senior Engagement Officer to lead consultation and engagement activities that help shape council decisions and improve local services.
As Senior Engagement Officer you’ll create opportunities for residents and stakeholders to get involved, gather and analyse feedback, and present findings that help decision-makers take informed action.
You’ll work closely with council teams, elected members, residents, and partners to deliver inclusive engagement that reflects the needs of our communities.
What you’ll do
- Lead engagement and consultation projects from start to finish
- Analyse feedback, including sentiment and representation
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, residents, and partners
- Champion inclusive engagement and encourage participation
- Support the development of our ‘Let’s talk Lincolnshire’ engagement platform
About you
You are an experienced engagement professional who:
- Communicates confidently and effectively with a wide range of audiences
- Has a proven track record in planning, delivering, and evaluating engagement or consultation activities
- Is skilled at reporting findings to decision-makers and the public
- Brings strong organisational skills and can manage multiple complex projects
- Demonstrates political awareness, tact, and resilience in challenging situations
- Values collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement
